There was more to Gorshin than Batman; anyone remember the Star Trek episode where he played a man split in half? Brilliant actor, and one that will be truly missed. RIP, Frank.

Princess Leia: I happen to like nice men.
Han Solo: I'm a nice man.

Goodbye, Frank Gorshin. We'll miss you.
I'd like a qui-gon jinn please with an Obi-Wan to go.

Red heads ROCK. Blondes do not rock. Nuff said.

After reading some bio info, he does appear to have been a brilliant and well liked actor. He was nominated for two emmy's, and won 1 of them (for Riddler). He lived for a time in a town about 20 minutes from mine. I used to work at a McD's in that town just out of high school, and a lot of stars/well knowns came in, although he did not. I did get Roy Scheider in my line once. He was always one of my favorites too. 2010 was killer!

I do, that was a great episode. It speaks to the stupidity of our racial problems. Gorshin was great in that role.

"Let That Be Your Last Battlefield" IIRC. Great episode. This did sadden me, as I loved the old Batman series. RIP.

Made for IE Forum's Episode III theme month - May 2005.

A man that will be missed.

Star Trek: A long time ago, when all we had was BETA tapes, my family had just a handful of Star Trek episodes on tape. Trouble with Tribbles, I Mudd, The Cage, Space Seed (Khan) and Let that be your Final Battlefield. It was a fine episode.

Most people remember him for Star Trek or being the Riddler, but he's done more than that. He was still performing in the play George and Gracey up until March this year, playing George Burns. He also was a very good impersonator. We've got this DVD set that has all the episodes of The Ed Sullivan Show where the Beatles appeared and one of them also had Frank Gorshin.

He was and will always be Cool.

I remember last seeing his work in "Return to the batcave", before that: an ep of Tv show Black Scorpion as the evil Clockwise!

His last role was a cameo on the season final of CSI. They dedicated the episode to him.
