Don’t yell at me just asking how long until the a new hope revisited hd and jedi revisited hd will be out give or take? 10 20 years and no i’m not being a sarcastic. I’m just curious because i’m really looking forward to it and just was wondering that’s all. For the record i’m not trying to sound pushy i’m just curious that all. Because to me these are the complete versions of the original star wars trilogy
Why do you ask this when you know from asking about Empire that nobody, not even Ady knows for sure and it’s kind of annoying?
It shouldn’t take as long as ESB:R as some of the delays there were unique life events and technology and skills have improved. But life happens while we make plans. Patience. For the Jedi it is time to eat as well 😃I’m sorry it’s only because i want to watch all three of the original trilogy revisited hd that’s all and watching empire revisted hd without a new hope revisited hd bothers me.
Well, just to inform you, it has been stated that it will not take as long as it did for ESBR, but what that means is anyone’s guess and it could be just an optimistic estimation. In the end it will be coming when it is ready and there won’t be any release dates or anything like that. So there is no point in asking.

He’s holding back because the last time he fought Obi-Wan, things didn’t go very well for him. He was right to play it safe.
Well yes. Also in Empire Vader is fighting someone who has been practicing for a few months. If anything he is testing Luke’s potential so he is throwing all manner of fancy shapes at him. Vader in Jedi is more like Vader in Star Wars. He is cautious slow. His only flourish is throwing his sword to break the gantry. Luke is more like Vader in Empire during the Jedi fight. Because foreshadowing and because he has been doing this long enough now to have a false sense of security. I agree that the spin looks a bit awkward in Star Wars. sadly it looks like Jeremy Corbyn might be free in a few months. Maybe he could film some inserts 😂
While I understand where you are coming from, but you are just justifying many of the flaws of this scene. Sure, what you said could have been true, but we both know Darth Vader isn’t the type to hold back. He sure as hell never held back for any reason before. Not to mention Obi-Wan doesn’t give him much of a fight in the first place. This is the first lightsaber duel we ever witness and it is between two seasoned Jedi masters, it should have been better than this, not a roughly cut, awkward mess. I am not saying lets extend it, add scenes to it to make it more epic, though I am guessing it could have benefited from a well placed scene or too, I am not talking about that. I am just saying that awkwardness should be taken away.
