I’m not sure if it really qualifies as a Fan Edit, but I came across it yesterday and I enjoyed it so I wanted to put it out there. It’s from a duo called Palette-Swap Ninja and apparently took 5 years to make.

It’s a series of 11 YouTube videos set to match the Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band Album. Watched in sequence it is the entire Star Wars movie, with lyrics set to match the plot lines. Maybe it only appeals to people of a certain age and musical taste, but I found it immensely entertaining. Keeping most of the music and story tone of the the original Beatles lyrics, and then adapting them to the Star Wars movie scenes in proper plot order, was amazing. As more of a techie with absolutely no artistic talent, it’s the kind of creative thinking and execution that I find absolutely astounding.
