Notable cuts:

Cut down/removed crowd laughter. Not opposed to the concept just don’t like the execution because I hate salacious crumb.

Only very first part of music sequence is heard, no jedi rocks or lapti nek. Used some ideas from darthrush for the droid torture scene.

Leah and Jabba no longer argue about the price of chewbacca. Mainly just because I hated the crowd reaction shots.

Various other cuts for tone.

Technically speaking I think the cuts are very smooth, but as for watching it all back to back I’m not sure. Some things feel a little awkward, but I can’t tell if it’s because I know so well what was originally there so it just naturally feels like something is missing because I know exactly what was removed. My main concern is that it feel seamless to somebody who has never seen the film before. I can’t tell what it would feel like if I hadn’t been watching this sequence unedited over and over again.
