For those of you expecting a special announcement with regards to the Star Wars blurays for May the 4th, here it is:

“Save $40 on the Star Wars Complete Saga Blu-ray box set”

They must be blowing out their inventory in preparation for a new release this year. OOT confirmed.

“In the future it will become even easier for old negatives to become lost and be “replaced” by new altered negatives. This would be a great loss to our society. Our cultural history must not be allowed to be rewritten.” - George Lucas

Star Wars had been steeply discounted at Best Buy for weeks. I don’t see how this precludes anything. Probably just an intern looking up what’s on sale at Best Buy.

Lets at least wait until 9:41 PM EST 😉

And then until May 25 😃

Nah, let’s freeze ourselves till 2077

And then we have to battle a bunch of evolved otters for the last surviving copy of the OOT? 😉

George Lucas will show up in his own homemade General Grievous lifesupport suit with four actual lightsabers:

“Now i will fulfill my ‘final’ cut!”

If tomorrow comes and goes without an announcement, is it time to start drafting an open letter for the 25th?

Yeah. I might take a more humorous tack for tomorrow on twitter though.

Need a good caption though.

I mean, I could see a comment on how we basically have to bootleg the OOT in order to watch it, though I’m not sure if that’s the best way to describe the fan preservations (though I’m sure that’s how they’d legally be seen)

Something alon the lines of "Why is it that the only way to watch it is to bootleg it?

Tomorrow seems like a meaningless day to mark a release of a restoration. It’s not actually related to anything that is Star Wars related.

Anyone expecting any kind of announcement is just asking to be disappointed.

We need as many people to share this as possible. Therefore I think posts should be available for sharing on Facebook as well as twitter, and there should be 2 varieties. A short humorous one, and a longer serious post. Certain types of people will only share one or the other.

It’s really up to Jay to create that sort of thing.

I created one years ago. Haven’t touched it.

If anyone is particularly adept at social media and is interested in helping manage our Twitter and Facebook accounts, I’d be open to it. (I mean somebody who actually works in this space or has real experience building an audience.)

Has the board got a working ignore feature now? Seems the mods are great at ignoring Negative1.

Kennedy’s comments make it sound 100% certain that the OUT is never coming.

I just can’t wrap mt head around this translation of what was said. All she said was that she wouldn’t make further changes to the SE. It’s a totally different subject. What am I missing?

It sounds to me like she’s saying these are the final versions, the end.
