I went outside a couple minutes ago to spray the yellowjacket nests accumulating against the south wall of my house, and I found an ant hill in the grass. It was a pretty good-size ant hill, with lots of large red-and-black ants everywhere. One of them was dragging along the abdomen of a yellowjacket. It was pretty cool.
No, I didn’t spray them.
Good. I personally wouldn’t want to piss off the red ants either. They bite, and it hurts.
