Why Didn't Qui Gon Gin's Body Disappear Like Obiwan's and Yoda's?

This is a bit OT, but I don’t necessarily think Lucas lazy in all aspects as a film creator. But I think it’s very, very obvious that they didn’t do enough takes in parts of ROTJ and especially in the PT. There are countless scenes where I was like “Um, that was the best take you could get? Really?”

I do wonder if this was because Lucas had bad experiences going over budget on both ANH and TESB (IIRC those were the only 2 Lucas SW films that went over budget) and he made do with less takes in future films as a way to save money. I’ve also read that (esp in the PT) he was (IMO overly) confident that he could just fix things in post.

I mean it’s probably not a total coincidence that most consider TESB the best Star Wars film and that was the film where the director did by far the most takes in a strive for perfection.
