Hello, everyone. I have edited all of my posts to remove everything I’ve posted here previously (for personal reasons), but I felt as though you all might like to know how things turned out.

First, a confession: when I said I was a sophomore that looked like a senior, that wasn’t true; I’m a freshman that looks like a senior. I just wanted good advice other than, “A freshman and a senior? Forget it, man.”

Next, I’d like to take this opportunity to laugh at all you folks that said that 2 months was too short to get anywhere with someone, especially a popular pretty senior girl. Because after 1 month…

1. She called me “sweetheart”. And I know I’m not being overly optimistic when I say that she doesn’t just throw that word around. It wasn’t sarcastic; it was sincerely said.
2 She hugged me. Why? Because she was so darned happy that I got up the courage to run out of the theatre and push my way through the crowd so as to find her specifically. I said the most stupid things in my nervousness afterwards, but it didn’t matter; just the fact that I showed up was enough to make her want to hug me. She was so happy. And that was a real hug; I felt her hair on my cheek, her arms around me. I’ll never forget that feeling of my fingers in her soft dark hair. Ever.

So there you go. I’m still ecstatic about this miracle. It just goes to show that with the right attitude and God on your side, anything’s possible.

P.S. Somehow, I seriously doubt that that moron she has for a boyfriend would have appreciated this. He’s kind of an aggressive type. Oh well, he doesn’t know…he wasn’t there
