Despecialized: SW 2.7 - How to burn the M2TS file to Disc.

Hi Guys,

I have successfully managed to download all three films and they look incredible. I showed them to my best friends 6 year old son and his jaw was dropped the whole way through. The Films look incredible but were only shown on my laptop, which leads me into my query.

My query is in relation to STAR WARS 2.7 which only shows as a M2TS file. EMPIRE and JEDI are perfect and their MDS Files are there and ready to be burned to either my DVD+ RDL or Blu Rays Discs using IMGBurn, but I’m really not entirely sure about the M2TS file for STAR WARS. Can this be burned to a disc using the same method for the MDS files or will I have to convert the file to something else?

I’m not very good when it comes to technical know-how like this sadly. If someone could let me know, you would be a God.

Thank You 😃

You need a tool called tsMuxeR - it will let you open the M2TS file and then rebuild/resave it as an ISO file, ready to burn.

Dude, you are a GOD. Thank you so much for the help. I managed to convert the file to .ISO and then changed that to an .MDS file. All that’s left to do now is burn them and enjoy the magic.

Thanks again. 😃

I made an iso from the entire folder (it’s what a guide told me to do)…this didn’t work. Are you saying only convert the m2ts file to an iso and nothing else? Then write image file to disk with imgburn?

What folder? This sounds like a different source from the OP.
