So complaining about the high ground thing is pretty dumb, because it's obvious the way it was meant to be taken...

I disagree ... again, at best it's just a poor choice of dialogue ... a weak handshake at a pivotal moment. Yes, we already know Kenobi doesn't really want to be fighting Anakin. It's just that Ben's "higher ground" advantage here is dramatically lacking ...

It's certainly not my biggest problem with the ending; it's one gripe in a boiling lava pit of climactic plot problems.

My biggest issue is the fact that Ben left Anakin to suffer horribly and die. That sucks. It would have been cooler had Ben offered a hand to Anakin ... "come with me back to the light side," and Anakin refused, screaming, "No. I hate you!" Like Luke chose to fall in Bespin, Anakin actively would have chosen the painful path of the dark side by refusing Ben's hand. And that's why Ben would have been convinced that there was no good left in Vader. "Obi-wan once thought as you do."

Re: Boba Fett in clones ..... yeah, that remains unforgivably lame.
