It has been encoded as a DVD and provided for download as a TS_VIDEO folder for easy burning, so everything is fine there. However, "this one movie" has had its aspect ratio changed from 2.35:1 to 1.33:1 at some point in it's capture/encoding process.
Since I'm not looking for anything fancy... no menus, titles, video enhancement or anything... what would be the easiest way to take "this one movie", crop out a black border surrounding the picture, and redo the aspect ratio to 2.35:1, adding in the black bars at the top and bottom (so as to make it a better fit for a non-widescreen television) and reencode it for easy burning on DVD?
I'm looking for simple and fast (I fully understand that the reencoding itself may take some time, however) and prefereably something involving a straight-forward GUI rather then typing in a bunch of numbers that I may get wrong in the process.
Thanks in advance, folks!
