Posting in the right thread would be a start. But we generally don’t give invites to hit and runners. You need to be an active member of the forum. And since you couldn’t even bother to find the right thread I guess you better get crackin.

Ah, thank you Frink.

Well if nothing else you may have been the first member ever to post that.

A thread where people request long-lost fanedits and I upload them as a service to the community doesn’t count? So what would be sufficient in your mind? How about if I burn a disc and drive it to someone’s house, would that count?

Also there are plenty of times I’ve answered questions like “how do I do ‘X’” and people have thanked me, it’s just that the threads I listed were the easy answer. Find me all the times people thanked you. Oh, and make 60,000+ posts and then find me all the times people thanked you.

Why are we even discussing this? I’m aware there is (probably) some element of teasing going on here, but FFS.

Teasing. Check.

Knowing I’ve personally thanked you a variety of times. Check.

Worried about you a bit; hoping everything’s alright on your end. Check.

I have a feeling room, burn something and drive on over and we’ll watch it there.

I promise I’ll put it say thank you in the form about it too. 😃

Feeling room? Oh auto correct, how I hate you!

That was supposed to say theater room. Complete with Leather Reclining Chairs, projector sound proof walls, and about to be 7.1.4 Atmos. 😃

Oh, and I have a theater style popcorn machine.

Was just poking fun, Frink. You know I’ve got no problems with you :p

I’m sad, burned the discs and they worked fine on all players, but my fancy new 4k Blu ray player only loads the main menu, and Everytime I hit, “play movie” it just goes back to the menu again. 😦

I’m all new to theese versions and so on but can please someone just tell me if there’s a DVD-9 DL option available for this set and also, where the darn are the DL links???

aha, I see, but someone must have converted theese? I mean for christ sake how many SW fans are there in the world? Otherwise, Isn’t there just anywhere I can buy a complete DVD set of theese? would gladly pay a handsome sum for 2 sets including all discs, extras etc. Also, where can I find just the extras on DVD? Thank you and sorry for my low knowledge on this matter and perhaps stupid questions, but I really want to see thoose extras.

Speaking about buying/selling bootlegs or other unofficial material is a good way how to get banned on this forum. There are 3 “official” versions of Harmy’s editions, a mkv file, an AVCHD and a DVD-9 (just movie I think). All of them are usually available at the same places, just read the thread Bluto linked and also “The Ultimate Introductory Guide” ( https://docs.google.com/document/d/1yLsvexWBVM8IYSGopKuSfsGk5YIgCwQWd23bqb5ryD4/pub ).
The extras as far as I know are available only on BD, most of the people here don’t use DVDs anymore, sorry.

Not the NJVC set, but I have a set of the Harmy’s on DVD with a fourth DVD that has the mp4 extras from an earlier BD25 download. They’re an early set I made that’s just sharpie hand labeled. I also have a 3 disc set of the BD25s that I did after I got a BR burner and disc printer. Both have just been sitting around after I upgraded each and finally got the wonderful NJVC set downloaded and burned. I inquired on the HarmyDeed facebook page and got the OK to give away without charge. If anybody needs either just PM me a shipping address.

Well this looks fantastic. I guess it’s time to upgrade the old DVD9 set I have here. Can’t wait to show these to my kiddo, as they were meant to be seen.

For those who have more recently accessed these, can you briefly just tell what program you used for the actual disk burning?

Any idea what would cause the 4K BD player to be less forgiving? I’ve seen this happen before where BD-compliant burned discs will work fine in actual stand-alone BD players, but then stuff like an Xbox One or maybe a PS3/4 will not play it. Stricter standards maybe?

Couldn’t find any source to njvc’s BluRay set. Although, I have been able to obtain the mkv files of the most recent Harmy’s versions of each film.

I would really like to obtain directly from a fellow collector the following njvc editions for my archive: Film + Special features disc (50GB BD) and Bonus Documentaries disc (25GB BD) for each of the three films, plus the ROTJ + SW Trilogy Documentaries (50GB BD).

In exchange of allowing me to copy your ISO files or Blu-ray disc, I will provide you Blu-ray (M-Disc) versions of each disc, including full disc and case artwork of your choice.

Additionally, I will include TN1 Star Wars Silver Screen Edition v1.6 BD50 (M-Disc), including full disc and case artwork of your choice.

Are njvc’s ISOs open-source (you can make your own Blu-ray ISOs based on his and can even take some features)?

I may want to make my own version when I have the time but I’m not sure if I can put it up on the Spleen or if it will just be my personal version.

And I’ve loved every pixel of it.
