Is it possible that they’ll announce a new SE with updated VFX that doesn’t feature the more annoying changes and still stays true to canon? I’d kinda want to see that.
I believe that won’t happen. The “SE” became Lucas’ director’s/producer’s cut, any further changes or rollback would been seen as shitting on Lucas.
I dunno, there was that story a couple years ago about an unnamed source at Lucasfilm having seen a new version of the SE where Han shoots first again.
So… they’re taking the popular catchy slogan/rallying cry for OOT literally? Sounds reasonable.
