And you don’t think having someone new playing Leia would throw people off? A decent percentage of the same people wouldn’t know that Leia was recasted just like they wouldn’t know that she died in a story set between VIII and IX. Having Leia die ion a novel or comic would be good for the more casual fans (but not casual moviegoers) and folks like us. I could see a quite a few people who wouldn’t normally be into that shit picking up (or in the more realistic case pirating) that story to get that closure.
