I wish someone could explain to me the appeal of Trump. Why the heck do people (still) like him? It’s like with Sarah Palin… there are people who like her, but WHY?!? I just can’t even.

  1. People are tired of the coded language politicians use, Trump has the appearance of being a straight shooter, even though he’s actually not.

  2. People are worried about jobs, Trump said he’ll bring back jobs. Just look at this;

  1. People are tired of dicking around in other countries, Trump appeared to be more isolationist. Turns out this was utter bullshit, as the recent missile strike proves.

I don’t necessarily agree with your 1st point or the 2nd half of your 3rd point.

1 missile strike does not a globalist make.

Sure, but it sure as hell isn’t isolationist either.

Americans are tired of dicking around in other countries for sure but Trump is human, regardless of whether he is President or not, and he may have been pushed a bit to make a statement to the world.

I’m not sure I’m comfortable having a president that’s so easily convinced to go back on his word. Remember when he met with pharma lobbyists and then totally flipped his position on on drug prices?

If all it takes is a smooth-talking lobbyist or Republican war-hawk to get Trump to completely change his mind about promises he’s made, then we’re in for a hell of a ride.
