I wish someone could explain to me the appeal of Trump. Why the heck do people (still) like him? It’s like with Sarah Palin… there are people who like her, but WHY?!? I just can’t even.
People are tired of the coded language politicians use, Trump has the appearance of being a straight shooter, even though he’s actually not.
People are worried about jobs, Trump said he’ll bring back jobs. Just look at this;

- People are tired of dicking around in other countries, Trump appeared to be more isolationist. Turns out this was utter bullshit, as the recent missile strike proves.
I don’t necessarily agree with your 1st point or the 2nd half of your 3rd point.
1 missile strike does not a globalist make. Americans are tired of dicking around in other countries for sure but Trump is human, regardless of whether he is President or not, and he may have been pushed a bit to make a statement to the world. It isn’t the first time in our history that it’s happened and it certainly won’t be the last so there’s that.
As for him being a straight shooter … he is really more of a “this is how I was raised during the era I was raised” kinda person. You see it in a lot of people his age. He’s a product of the times he grew up in and he’s not used to reeling himself in because he’s probably always been this way. Now, it may not make him a lot of friends, but it certainly doesn’t make him deserving of a burning at the stake either.
