Yeah, I don’t get the point of rating films. Just say whether you liked it or disliked it and why. The idea of a grading scale for art always baffled me. How can you rate movies like Citizen Cane and Animal House on the same scale? They’re totally different.
I was distracted by Citizen Cane so I missed the rest. What’s wrong with trying to quantify how much you liked or disliked something? I could say I liked ANH and ROTJ but that doesn’t mean I enjoy one way more than the other.
It would probably be clear based on what you say about your feelings towards each movie which one you liked better.
