I’m more concerned about Rogue One being so high. It’s the most boring SW movie to date (basically nothing happens for 1h30 and the remaining 45 minutes are totally uninteresting) with characters so lame even Jar Jar is badass in comparaison… But it’s the SW effect: each new released film is the best until people wake up and start looking without the hype filter (with one movie every year it’s going to take more time but in the end the result will be the same…). For me R1 still stands as the worst SW film… and the dumbest one (which is saying a lot about how dumb it is 😃).

Also, the release of the rest of the Sequel Trilogy might retroactively make TFA a better movie given added context.

Or make it even worse. If The Last Jedi is good, TFA will still be a very weak (and bad) entry. I’ll probably just skip it and watch The Last Jedi immediately afterwards Return of the Jedi.
