Made another clip. This one has more sound effects but still isn’t complete. I’ve at least gotten into he habit of doing color correction from now on.

Another video I made recently. This is my full opening intro (pre-credits) to T2. Notice how it now basically mirrors the opening to T1. Gone is the voiceover, the cars in traffic, the kids playing in the park, and the T-1000 theme:

Made a slight revision on a previous edit by changing the music. I think this fits better. The added sound effects/dialogue helps to.

Finally got Sony Vegas and am beginning to learn some real color correction. The outdoor night shots are going to be a real hassle, as I’m pretty Cameron had colored lights on set to help facilitate the blue look he wanted. But for now, some of the indoor night shots are a bit easier to achieve. Here’s some before and after comparison shots:

I think this a pretty good preset. The blu’s aren’t gone completely, but there’s no red shift or dare I say teal anywhere. Looks perfectly neutral to me.

Where did you source your 4X3 footage from?
It’s a PAL digital copy of a FS version I got off the spleen. I’ve decided not to use this though. The colors off way too off, and I can’t for the life of me get the AR to be correct. Just gonna use my old widescreen DVD instead.
