I don’t know about CS5, but I’m running CC 2015 and you can apply a LUT by using the “Lumetri Color” effect and then clicking “apply LUT” under Basic Correction.

Davinci Resolve has a free version.
can Resolve import h264 mp4? i dont have a drive free to export to ProRes or anything of the sort. I tried to import the mp4 in After Effects and got this weird chroma shift effect.

It should - there is hardly anything DaVinci Resolve doesn’t support, so long as you have the right codecs installed on your system.

Otherwise, download cliptoolz and transcode it to a non long-GOP codec (like ProRes) and import from there.
