Hum… sorry I don’t get it: Episode II & III were shot in 16:9 then cropped to 2.35 ? If I’m not mistaken 2.35 is larger than 16:9 so isn’t it the opposite that was done ? Which would mean the real resolution is in fact higher than 2k (well, not the cgi stuff but the rest would be) ?
AOTC was shot open matte at 1920x1080 (not even 2K) and then matted to 1920x820. I don’t know about ROTS.
