Just disgraceful that Felicity won. Her character was one of the worst aspects of Rogue One for me.

At least she’s more developed than someone like Bodhi Rook.

Bodhi was an imperial pilot inspired by Galen to fight back. He chose to and is constantly trying to prove himself and his worth in the Alliance and then finally in his last moments he gets that fulfillment and knows he played an instrumental role in continuing what Galen started. Felicity had the benefit of far more screen time but her arc was far less tightly written and overall made for an ineffective and non believable arc in my opinion.

And Jyn is a woman who at a young age watched her mother get murdered and her father taken away by The Empire. After some time she has grown to like the idea that Galen is dead because it’s more comforting than knowing he’s being used as a cog in the Imperial war machine. After being taken in by Saw she is “abandoned” by him which has caused her to develop trust issues. And while her arc isn’t convincing like Baze’s I think based on what she had endured it’s sensible as to why she changed her philosophy of ignoring the Empire’s menace into one of freeing the Galaxy of its tyranny. In general she just has more going on as a character.
