A waiter at a Southern California restaurant has been fired after asking a group of Latina women to provide “proof of residency” before taking their drink order, the Washington Post reported Sunday.

As some people on twitter are still screaming boycott, I guess firing the guy and apologizing wasn’t enough.

That’s called entitlement and there is far too much of it in this country at the moment.

Former Attorney General Michael Mukasey on Sunday said that President Trump is likely correct that there was surveillance on Trump Tower for intelligence purposes, but incorrect in accusing former President Barack Obama of ordering the wiretapping.

“I think he’s right in that there was surveillance and that it was conducted at the behest of the attorney general — at the Justice Department,” Mukasey told ABC’s “This Week.”

Trump on Saturday accused Obama of wiretapping Trump Tower in New York City just before the November election.

We know, this was two weeks ago.

^After Comey’s Clinton debacle I don’t know how much weight they expect his words to have.

So you think he’s gonna lie. Or that they’re all gonna assume he’s lying.

The World Happiness Report measures “subjective well-being” - how happy the people are, and why.

Denmark, Iceland, Switzerland and and Finland round out the top five, while the Central African Republic came last.

Western Europe and North America dominated the top of table, with the US and UK at 14th and 19th, respectively.

Countries in sub-Saharan Africa and those hit by conflict have predictably low scores. Syria placed 152 of 155 countries - Yemen and South Sudan, which are facing impending famine, came in at 146 and 147.

  1. Norway 146. Yemen
  2. Denmark 147. South Sudan
  3. Iceland 148. Liberia
  4. Switzerland 149. Guinea
  5. Finland 150. Togo
  6. Netherlands 151. Rwanda
  7. Canada 152. Syria
  8. New Zealand 153. Tanzania
  9. Australia 154. Burundi
  10. Sweden 155. Central African Republic

What I think is irrelevant. His recent track record lays the ground work for anything he does moving forward. The Obama Administration has a well known track record for surveillance all over the place. With the verification that General Flynn had his calls intercepted and transcribed, used as “proof” against him, I have no reason to believe Comey will be willingly forthcoming, about whether or not President Trump is on any of those recordings.

The simple fact is, the damage is already done, with the Flynn incident. It has a paper trail. For anyone in the Government that doesn’t want anyone stepping outside the purview of said paper trail, culpable deniability, will be the name of the game.

A story about Comey’s committee meeting from a local station by me. Far more level-headed article compared to what will probably get more attention than they’re worth due to the continuing “Russian Spy” narrative being propogated.

Tim Allen, a rather irrelevant actor, appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live this week, where he bemoaned the tribulations suffered by conservatives in Hollywood. “You gotta be real careful around here,” he told Kimmel. “You get beat up if you don’t believe what everybody else believes. This is like ‘30s Germany.”

Nope! Not even close!

agreed, but I am sure it is rather unpopular to be conservative in Hollywood. It also wouldn’t surprise me if it is damaging to one’s career. But no, it is not like '30s Germany where having an unpopular opinion could get you killed.

  1. There’s no evidence of Trump’s accusation that Obama tapped his phones
  1. The FBI is investigating connections between President Trump’s campaign associates and the Russian government
  1. But the FBI is going to be VERY tight-lipped about the investigation
  1. Democrats seem pretty sure associates with Trump’s campaign colluded with Russia
  1. Republicans, meanwhile, want to focus on intelligence leaks to the press
  1. Intelligence officials still don’t think there’s any evidence Russia’s meddling influenced the vote tallies

^No need to be like that. It’s just a video regardless of titles. It’s not like some of your own favorite quotable news sources are writing unbiased news stories with misleading headlines that are based on unproven narratives.

He was obviously not serious.

He’s a comedian, it was a joke, and the audience laughed with him because it was obviously a joke.

That Jezebel article might be the worst I’ve seen posted here, the clip was just him doing a routine.

People never laugh at tasteless jokes? There are comedians who’ve made a career out of that.
