Of course diplomats behind-the-scenes do all the real negotiating but when you refuse to shake the hand of the most important politician in European, diplomatic relations just got frosty (or to be generous, Trump might be going deaf).

To be fair to Trump, maybe that’s what actually happened, since he did shake her hand earlier in the day, several times.

Or maybe he did it on purpose to make it yet another story that distracts from all the real shitty things he’s doing. Who knows?
