If you see just a blank page just try another browser, it looks like you have some "ad blocker" which blocks the site (either a browser plugin, or your firewall, or you ISP is blocking it ...) - there is NOTHING "I" can do about it, sorry

What memories! I loved this cartoon as a kid, I got 2 or 3 tapes with dutch subtitles with a few episodes but would like to see the complete series!
Great work on the restoration, I have done this in the past myself so I know how hard it is to do it. Well done!

Hello all. I’m new and I just noticed something about the VHS retail versions that differ from the originals that I obtained poor quality Beta copies that date from 1985 September (w/missing episodes and other distortions).
For example, the commercial break in “To Save Deej” had a scene with Logray sending the youngins off to get the ingredients to the potion for Deej. Well there was the Yamaha ‘FM synth’ metallic kettle drum sound that was played in an almost “spinning” riff that started moderately fast, then kept getting slower and slower and slower till it just played one last strike, then it either went to commercial break or straight to the next scene. So in the retail VHS version, they had to save on tape space, and so they just faded out the audio track. I miss that original touch!!! I was total gold.

So I’m asking, is this restored version of the Ewoks taken from the source of broadcast or retail? If anyone wants me to dub a copy of the few distorted, warped, fuzzy episodes that I have (with aged video dropout) just send me a message. I don’t charge money. But give me some time to convert everything. I’m oldschool analog with real time (actual equipment). I don’t have many episodes, but I have some from both seasons, including Droids.
However, I am dying to have whatever copy I can get my hands on with this restored version. Which, I trust is still available to the beloved fans? After all, what good is history if you can’t share it!
(the best day of my life will be the day that I can travel back in time to the 80s and bring an HD recorder hooked up to CABLE TV and then bring it back to the future!)
I can’t stand my 2004 DVD retail release GENERIC MUSIC tracks! It literally has no identity to it at all. What were they thinking? Like a beginning scene from “The Cries From The Trees” where Latara plays her flute, but the only sound coming from it was background that was playing before she even picked up her flute! Who’s bad idea was that???
I barely understand “t o r r e n t s” and related jargon that I’m currently researching the how-to’s.

I know it has been ages since this thread was last posted in and I hope you don’t mind me bumping it up but having only just found out about this project the other day (why I didn’t find it years sooner I don’t know) and then being allowed to access the downloads so quickly, I just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU so much for the amazing work and dedication that was put into making this collection and for providing all Ewoks fans with an amazing quality archive of this great cartoon, it is hugly appreciated.
I’ve been an Ewoks fan since I was a kid in the 90’s and always wanted to be able complete the series as I only owned 4 VHS tapes from the UK and now, all these years later, I finally can ^.^
I did have a question though, is the video a mixture of VHS rips and the avaliable DVD futage all blended together?

Yeah, they did this too with the UK VHS release of Droids. Around the commercial breaks they would trim a second or two off the fade-aways to tighten it up. I had to use the Japanese audio for those parts in my Droids set.

The graphics for the custom covers look great too.

Sadly i have no invites at this time.
I have got the Droids and Ewoks videos from a YouTube channel, but I don’t know if they are as good a quality (they might be the exact same videos which someone has simply uploaded there). But they don’t include the great artwork either.
I have actually found a couple of web stores selling DVDs, but again the quality of the stills doesn’t look that great, e.g. RetroTV Memories (https://www.retrotvmemories.com/products/ewoks-cartoons-3-dvd-all-35-eps-complete-star-wars-1985-86/).
Although with the only options being video captures from TV or VHS tape, the quality is never going to be spectacular. 😦

Wow, you guys are thorough. I’ve been trying to find something to upload in thanks for the Ewoks and Droids animated DVDs, but I can’t find anything I have in my collection that you haven’t already got covered or is already easily available elsewhere.
Would anyone happen to have any MySpleen invites they’re willing to part with? I’ve been trying to add these shows to my collection, and this seems like the most ideal way to enjoy them.
