Are you kidding? There were tv shows back then not filmed in HD, nevermind a silly documentary.

Shows shot on videotape, sure. Again, the industry knew HD was around the corner. Unless those involved thought a comprehensive doc about Star Wars and it’s impact on the world was an ephemeral project.

You consider EOD silly?

Absolutely. It was crap. Really didn’t tell us anything that we didn’t know.

I consider this viewpoint silly. We aren’t a monolithic fanbase, and EOD was the first SW documentary I watched. It told me plenty I didn’t know and showed my lots of footage I hadn’t seen. It got progressively worse as it went along (especially the very end where it turned into a Lucas-is-great lovefest), but I found it captivating for the most part.
