You’re right, it means nothing. From the mid-1990s until 2017, Fox has had the original cut frames in their possession, and in all 20-something of those years, the OOT was never restored and never released. And as far as anyone knows, absolutely nothing came of Mike Verta’s meeting.

There is literally no evidence to suggest that the OOT has been restored or will ever be released by Disney. None.
