Was he under oath at the time? If so, he could well be guilty of Perjury. If I remember correctly, the Republicans think that is a serious crime, they impeached Clinton for it.

Yes.

And the WSJ is now reporting that the FBI investigated (and may still be investigating, it’s not clear) Sessions regarding Russia.

I hope this destroys Sessions. He’s a nutcase.

Does being Han Solo not get him more votes?

…but seriously this is going to happen a lot more often, as a generation who has grown up with filming themselves doing any and everything as the norm (and then probably uploading it to youtube) gets into politics. We’re gonna have to decide if footage of teenagers goofing off, has any bearing on an adults ability to govern. The GOP clearly think it does.

Oh and pro tip for the Democrats for a return advert… you might want to point out that what an immature teenager was caught doing on film, is slightly less important than what a grown 59 year old man who wanted to President was caught saying about women.

VIZ TOP TIPS! - PARENTS. Impress your children by showing them a floppy disk and telling them it’s a 3D model of a save icon.

The fact that the 59-year-old pussygrabber is now President would seem to indicate that it actually isn’t important at all.

A couple of high ranking Republicans are calling for Sessions to recuse himself from Russia investigations.

http://www.cnn.com/2017/03/01/politics/jeff-sessions-russian-ambassador-meetings/index.html?adkey=bn

The revelation prompted key Democrats to call for Sessions’ resignation and led two top Republicans to call on him to recuse himself from Trump-Russia inquiries.

Rep. Jason Chaffetz, the Republican chairman of the House Oversight Committee, said Sessions should “clarify his testimony,” while House Majority Leader Rep. Kevin McCarthy, in an interview with MSNBC, said Sessions should not participate in such investigations for “the trust of the American people.”

For some reason the articles text only mentions Chaffetz’s comment about “clarifying his testimony” but then includes that tweet which also says he should recuse himself.

http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2017/03/02/sessions-more-than-trump-surrogate-meetings-russian-envoy/98630456/

At the time then-Sen. Jeff Sessions met with the Russian ambassador to the United States during the midst of last year’s bitter election campaign, the Alabama senator was not only serving as a surrogate for candidate Donald Trump but had been named chairman of the campaign’s National Security Advisory Committee.

Justice Department officials have said that Sessions’ contacts, which he did not disclose during questioning during his confirmation hearing as President Trump’s attorney general nominee, had nothing to do with the campaign and were confined to his service as a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee.

Yet, when Trump announced Sessions’ appointment to chair the campaign committee, he directly referenced the senator’s long service on the powerful Senate panel among his credentials as an influential political and policy adviser.

"Sen. Sessions has been on the Armed Services Committee for almost 20 years and is chairman of the Strategic Forces Subcommittee,’’ the Trump campaign announced last March.

Sessions said then that he was "grateful for the opportunity to recommend and facilitate discussions among exceptional and experienced American military and diplomatic leaders to share insight and advice with Donald Trump, regardless of their political views.’’

"Mr. Trump and the American people know our country needs a clear-eyed foreign policy rooted in the national interest,’’ Sessions said then. "We need to understand the limits of our ability to intervene successfully in other nations. It is time for a healthy dose of foreign policy realism.’’

Huffpost articles…so I’ve included an anti-Dem one to balance it out a little.

More Repubs calling for Sessions to recuse himself.

Sen. Rob Portman (R-Ohio) joined in. “I think it would be best for him and for the country to recuse himself from the DOJ Russia probe,” he said, but added that Sessions was a former colleague and friend.

Conservative Reps. Justin Amash (R-Mich.) and Rep. Raúl Labrador (R-Idaho) also called for Sessions to step aside.

Sessions called for Lynch to recuse herself in November.

In November, then-Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.) called for Loretta Lynch to recuse herself from any investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server or improper conduct by the Clinton Foundation, saying the attorney general could not be impartial after her impromptu meeting with former President Bill Clinton on an airplane in Phoenix.

“When a high public official is accused of serious wrongdoing and there is a sufficient factual predicate to investigate, it is imperative the investigation be thorough, with dispatch and without partisanship,” Sessions wrote in an op-ed, co-signed by other high-profile Donald Trump supporters.

Sessions doesn’t like perjury when other people do it.

In 1999, then Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.) described perjury claims against President Bill Clinton as “serious allegations.”

“In America, the Supreme Court and the American people believe no one is above the law,” he said. Sessions also voted “guilty” on charges of perjury and obstruction of justice during Clinton’s impeachment trial.

Dem makes shitty Lewinsky joke in reference to Kellyanne Conway

Proving that vile sexism plagues both political parties, Rep. Cedric Richmond (D-La.) made the worst kind of joke about Kellyanne Conway Wednesday night, quipping that the top adviser to President Donald Trump “really looked kind of familiar there in that position” when she was kneeling on the Oval Office couch.

“You even mentioned Kellyanne and the picture on the sofa,” Richmond said at the Washington Press Club’s annual congressional dinner. “But I really just want to know what was going on there, because, I won’t tell anybody. And you can just explain to me that — that circumstance, because she really looked kind of familiar there in that position there. But don’t answer. And I don’t want you to refer back to the ‘90s.”

The ‘90s reference harkened back to President Bill Clinton’s sexual antics on the Oval Office couch, which Sen. Tim Scott (R-S.C.) had evoked moments earlier.

“Has anyone seen the controversy around Kellyanne Conway and the couch in the Oval Office? Come on people. You remember the ‘90s. That couch has had a whole lot of worse things,” Scott said.

And finally, what the hell?

Thanks, I’m glad someone agreed. Now we just need a thoughtful Stinky-Dinkins post to balance out the other Stinky-Dinkins posts and we’ll be golden.

If the cup is almost full then yes I may use two hands to keep it steady.

I guess you have tiny hands just like our so-called President then.
