There is no real reason for Disney to release the OUT, because then they wouldn’t have a carrot to entice people to see Episodes VIII & IX.
There is an entire generation of people under 30 who have never seen the originals or even remember them; so the SE is just how it always was and will be.
I thought going to see the next chapter in the Star Wars Saga after The Force Awakens is enough enticement.
