So, in review, transgender bathroom issues…state’s business.

People smoking weed…FEDERAL JURISMYDICKTION!

I also must have missed the part in history class where the feds let the southern states sort out those pesky social issues in the 60’s all by themselves.

I don’t have time to read the whole thing right now but I read parts 1 and 2 and I feel like that is exactly what I’ve been trying to say. Empathy, understanding, and changing your behavior to fit the changing world.

With that said, I CAN’T READ IT IF IT ISN’T IN ALL CAPS.

Rep. Matt Gaetz surprised a roomful of angry protesters Thursday night when he called for President Donald Trump to release his tax returns.

But the Florida Republican stopped short of saying Congress should subpoena those returns.

Gaetz, a first-term congressman from the Sunshine State’s panhandle, has stood by Trump, campaigning with him over the past weekend and closing his raucous one-hour town hall at the Oops Bowling Alley here Thursday night by saying he wanted to “make America great again.”

But he surprised the audience when he said, “Absolutely, Donald Trump should release his tax returns.”

Caitlyn Jenner broke her silence on President Donald Trump’s decision to reverse federal guidance on protections for transgender students against discrimination, calling the move a “disaster.”

Jenner, the Olympic gold medalist, tweeted a video Thursday evening in which she directly called out Trump and his team for rescinding the guidance issued by the Obama administration last year in which public schools were instructed to allow students to use the bathroom that matched their gender identity. The guidance was not legally binding.

“From one Republican to another, this is a disaster,” she said. “And you can still fix it. You made a promise to protect the LGBTQ community. Call me.”

Hey wait a minute…

Jenner describes herself as a conservative Republican and has said she wants to help the GOP reach out to the LGBTQ community.

“I am here, since I’m on the Republican side, to help the entire Republican Party do a better job when it comes to LBGT issues,” she said last year. “I have kind of positioned myself with the Republican Party to try to help these people understand.”

She’s also praised Trump on his outreach to women and the queer community.

“Everybody looks at the Democrats as being better with these issues,” she said last June. “But Trump seems to be very much for women. He seems very much behind the LGBT community because of what happened in North Carolina with the bathroom issue. He backed the LGBT community.”

Hahahaha, dummy.

Perfect article for right now, talking about the war on PC (also a great follow up in many ways to the article about 4chan I posted the other day):

too long. could only get through half. couldn’t understand at all when he started talking about the Gamergate stuff. Maybe I’ll comment more about P.C. when I’ve calmed down about other things that are pissing me off right.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/white-house-bars-news-organizations_us_58b08a76e4b0a8a9b78213ae?

The White House blocked several news outlets from attending a closed-door briefing Friday afternoon with press secretary Sean Spicer, a decision that drew strong rebukes from news organizations and may only heighten tensions between the press corps and the administration.

The New York Times and CNN, both of which have reported critically on the administration and are frequent targets of President Donald Trump, were prohibited from attending. The Huffington Post was also denied entry.

Both the Associated Press and Time magazine, which were allowed to enter, boycotted out of solidarity with those news organizations kept out.

Though a reporter from the Wall Street Journal attended, the paper said later it would not do so again under such circumstances.

“The Wall Street Journal strongly objects to the White House’s decision to bar certain media outlets from today’s gaggle,” a Journal spokesman said. “Had we known at the time, we would not have participated and we will not participate in such closed briefings in the future.”

How is this even possible?

How come these mass prayer things never ask for useful stuff, like Kim Jong Un slipping on a banana peel, and falling down a long flight of stairs? That would be a Christmas miracle!

Anyway, as Bannon might just be a warlock, Trumpy is probably safe either way. 😉

That would probably cause massive earthquakes. Don’t you think that North Koreans have enough problems?

Maybe it’s just me, but I think it’s maybe starting to seem like Donald Trump might not have been the best choice for president?

The Russia thing is not going away.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/national-security/trump-administration-sought-to-enlist-intelligence-officials-key-lawmakers-to-counter-russia-stories/2017/02/24/c8487552-fa99-11e6-be05-1a3817ac21a5_story.html?hpid=hp_hp-top-table-main_trumprussia-720pm%3Ahomepage%2Fstory&utm_term=.18bcd1775548

The Trump administration has enlisted senior members of the intelligence community and Congress in efforts to counter news stories about Trump associates’ ties to Russia, a politically charged issue that has been under investigation by the FBI as well as lawmakers now defending the White House.

Acting at the behest of the White House, the officials made calls to news organizations last week in attempts to challenge stories about alleged contacts between members of President Trump’s campaign team and Russian intelligence operatives, U.S. officials said.

The calls were orchestrated by the White House after unsuccessful attempts by the administration to get senior FBI officials to speak with news organizations and dispute the accuracy of stories on the alleged contacts with Russia.

The White House on Friday acknowledged those interactions with the FBI but did not disclose that it then turned to other officials who agreed to do what the FBI would not — participate in White House-arranged calls with news organizations, including The Washington Post.

@realDonaldTrump I don’t know what’s scarier, that you don’t understand why this tweet is stupid or that your supporters won’t.

@realDonaldTrump You inherited a government run by a competent person. Obama didn’t. You inherited a budget that was ALREADY shrinking.

Credit where credit is due, this one is pretty funny.

Congratulations to Thomas Perez, who has just been named Chairman of the DNC. I could not be happier for him, or for the Republican Party!
