Couple that article with the fact that there is some “big surprise” at the 40 Year panel, it seems we might finally be getting the OOT.

… or they’re announcing another SE release. Either way, I’m hopeful, and awaiting the day I can finally trash the current Blu-rays.

It’s possible this is true, but I think some skepticism is warranted. With the 40th around the corner, it’s only natural that more rumors about this than ever would be cropping up.

I think the question is how that person got caught. If we know that, it would be very easy to presume a firing would follow.

It’s really important to keep in mind that he has completely ignored all of the big rumors regarding the OOT. The only recent time that I can find where he has talked about it was when footage of people working on Jedi in the sound booth surfaced. He clearly only deals in concrete information and evidence on this subject, so for him to basically say that he’s certain we’ll get it is huge.

Even if we don’t get the OOT, we will probably at least get a new transfer, so worst case scenario Despecialized will get alot better.

Tyr said he won’t believe the OOT is real until he’s watched the end credits. In my version, he gets to the very last scene before he discovers it’s a new SE with a single change.
