Libel is bad, yes, but she’s not a business. She’s a potential business because of her position as the First Lady. And isn’t badmouthing a corporation a form of libel? Sure, Nordstrom’s stock went up, but they can probably sue for the tweet.

Libel is libel, no matter what, learn your law. It also reads like he was taking a pot shot at himself, not Nordstrom, so I doubt it.

She’s the First Lady saying that she can’t exploit her new position for profit because of an article most of us have forgotten about. She rightly won the case, I agree, but it has to make you a little uneasy that she has no interest in this other than profit.
