How can communication not be instantaneous, but you can see other planets on other sides of the galaxy get blown up in real time with your own eyes when you look up at the sky?
I will agree with you (for once) that this part of TFA was stupid.
Like the topic of this thread, for me that falls under “really don’t give a shit.”
