Look, I’m not gonna defend anyone’s specific posts, but making dumb posts is not against the rules. As long as someone isn’t attacking you personally, Jay is not going to do anything, and rightfully so.
I know it is not against rules. Did you read what I originally wrote? I was asking Jay if he could alter the rules.
He’s not going to. There’s no reason to. If he made a rule against dumb posts, and banned people who made them, the forum would be a ghost town.

House of Commons Speaker John Bercow has announced that he intends to block US President Donald Trump from addressing Parliament when Trump visits the UK later this year.
It is customary for visiting presidents to address MPs and members of the House of Lords in Westminster Hall when making state visits to Britain.
As speaker of the House of Commons, however, Bercow is one of three people who has the authority to block visiting figures from doing this.
The speaker said on Monday afternoon that addressing Parliament was an “earned honour” and not an invitation that came automatically with a state visit.

Who are the others I wonder. Prime Minster probably is one of them, but who is the other? I doubt Parliament would stand for the Queen being able to do this.

The 3 people who can are named in this article mate:-
^ The other 2 are Lords Speaker Lord Fowler, and the Great Lord Chamberlain - an official appointed/chosen by The Queen (if I remember correctly)
