I don’t believe in canon. I just watch the movies I like and ignore the ones I don’t.
That’s a good way to put it. Official canons set by a bunch of guys at marketing shouldn’t effect what you enjoy from a specific franchise, and is one of the worst things to happen to entertainment in the past 10-20 years. Canon should only be important to the people writing a coherent narrative.
