When I buy beer, I tend to go for very robust beers. I usually don’t get along with pale, light, or the average American pisswasser that plagues every local bar or kegger. I love American beers, don’t get me wrong. Shiner, Samuel Adams, Deschutes, and many others are ones I go for frequently. I just don’t get why people like bud or coors. It’s drinking sparkling water, with a hint of beer.

Like coffee, the darker, stronger, and heartier it tastes, the happier I am. I don’t have one single beer I consider master of them all, and I rarely will buy the same beer twice, because there’s a lot of craft beers out there, and I always like to see what’s out there.

I haven’t had beer in while, because no matter how hard I seemed to work and sweat, I would stay the same weight, so I had to cut beer out. Now it’s an occasional treat for me. I don’t even touch soda anymore, because it doesn’t taste very good, when you’re not used to drinking it all the time.
