My birthday is tomorrow. It’s been a very mixed year. Some good things (graduated from Barber school and passed the state board exams), but mostly bad times. I’m looking forward to moving on, but doing so without my best friend is tough and sad. We were more than brothers, less than lovers. He was ripped from life suddenly and without warning. I miss him terribly. I’ve also had to make some tough decisions lately. ‘No win’ type situations and I’m hoping I’ve made the best choices. Time will tell.
