There was a website for internet petitions (can't recall the name), and a petition was started to force Peter Jackson to rename "The Two Towers" under the assumption that he was taking advantage of the recent tragedy. Despite the fact that the owners of the board posted a disclaimer at the top explaining that the title had been created decades before 9/11, people continued to add their names to the list.
