I believe what I want, not what they tell me. I know my facts about the process up til now are solid. As I am agnostic, Church World Service isn’t my cup of tea when it comes to news, as I like to keep religion and politics separate.
I don’t know where you live and I am sorry you feel the way you do about the circumstances. I would like to see the process streamlined to make it easier for those wanting to start a new life and harder for those only interested in making it worse for everyone except themselves. If you take issue with that, it is your right, but it doesn’t mean what I believe is based on a lie.
I strongly advise you read up on the difficulty of legally immigrating to the US as a refugee or willingly. Try going through the process yourself (not actually, but pretend) and see if you’d be eligible to immigrate to the US.
Here are some links to get you started on the process.

Though I appreciate your faux concern and understand your sarcasm I have a sister-in-law from the Philipines and I know exactly how hard it was for her to get through the process.
