Doesn’t anyone realize the planet is warming at a geometric rate? I’m still panicking about this, and no one is helping me.
What makes you so special? The world will end someday. Why shouldn’t you be alive when that happens? What have you done that makes you so much better than everybody else?
We were supposed to enjoy a few thousand more years of civilization, I was supposed to live to old age knowing life would go on long after I was gone. But now we don’t even have decades left, and the news on climate has gotten worse than anyone could have imagined. The Earth has warmed up by more degrees in my lifetime than it ever has in the last eight thousand years. Nothing was done, people called it a hoax, and now people are being silenced for telling the truth, instead of solving the problem. I did not deserve this, no one deserved this, and now I am cursed to live at the end of history. This could have been stopped, and I am beyond angry that we are so stupid as a species as to quickly destroy ourselves within the space of two hundred years.
