One of the reporters asked May where she disagreed with Trump, a pretty strange question. May answered it as diplomatically as possible, saying “Of course we’ll disagree, that’s why we’re having these talks, so we can listen and have a discussion”. That reporter probably won’t be asking any more questions, Trump joked about that.
May also wasn’t interested in Mexico at all. Trump was, predictably, in favor of Brexit.
May also drew comparisons between the two, saying they both want the best for the working class, front and center. The question was if they had anything in common when it came to personality, not policy, but she made another political move to make it sound good. Classic maneuvering.
