Tarantino-esque? Not at all! It's the opposite of what Tarantino does, it's a light hearted fun movie. It's not really a kung fu film per se, and the special effects are somewhat cheap substitutes for real Kung Fu (as I've discussed in the other thread), but it's an OK film.
