Hi all, I wanted to ask if anyone has ever restored a film from letterbox to anamorphic in DVD format? Some studios release dvds in letterbox format to quickly release the dvds in retail. Now that majority of everyone has a 16x9 television, letterbox makes the image really small on a screen. Two movies I know of in particular have been restored to anamorphic but on blu-ray only. “Barry Lyndon” and “Lolita”. If there’s a way to put it onto a dvd5 or dvd9 I’d like to know if possible.
