(It has been a bone of contention in the UK recently with some people - in the main politicians and the hate-media - seemingly not able to separate that others can have sympathy for Palestinians and not be anti-Semitic too - it was certainly an easy target for a time).
This can be a problem here as well. It’s the usual “no compromise” polarization of every issue these days.
