Focuspuller, how are things going with the Munchausen set?

If you happen to need a cover/disc art, I would be willing to take care of that. Could also make backgrounds for menus if you needed.

He gave up on trying to get the disc to compile a while ago. I've got all the completed first disc and the raw material for the second disc, I've just been very lax in getting to trying to compile the second disc. I suppose I could try doing it next week.

How about a second disc for The Adventures of Baron Munchausen Blu-ray which utilises the Criterion Laserdisc extras?

Looks like the commentaries for both the Blu-ray and Laserdisc are different.

I have the video files for "The Fisher King" Laserdisc. If you'd like to create a DVD from it. It doesn't look like a Blu-ray is going to be released soon :-(

I realize this is an ancient thread, but I’m wondering if there is a rip of just the Criterion commentary for Munchausen available somewhere. AC3, MP3, AAC… the format doesn’t matter to me. I’m just curious as I have always wanted to hear it. If anyone has it or knows where it might be available on a non-LD format, I’d love to hear from you.

The laserdisc looks to be packed. I for one would love to see a preservation of this.

It looks like a lot of attempts were made to get it to work, but it just didn’t want to go with the software bdev was using. The first disc appears to be done, but I’m not sure it was ever released. I’d be overjoyed with just the commentary, but it sounds like a ton of work went into the DVD transfer (not to mention Criterion’s efforts!)

It would be nice to see them give Munchausen a blu-ray in the same way they re-released The Fisher King.

I did have it on my computer one time but I’ll see what I can do. Will PM you with the link to the uploaded commentary, not right away, when it happens.
