I'm trying YouSendIt for the first time, based on the conversation above. Try this link for Darth Editous' fixed saber m2v file from ANH . Hopefully it'll work. It's in NTSC format and is ready to snap in. DE did a bang up job on this, as well as new crawls for my prequel re-edits, which I'll discuss in another thread when I'm ready to launch.

Here's what you need to do in Womble to get these snippets to work:
1) Demux to elementary streams, so you're working solely with the m2v or mpv stream.
2) Using Womble MPEG Video Editor, under tools/Mpeg Video GOP fixer run the "fix GOP timecode and PTS errors. I've found this necessary on all the Star Wars DVDs. Otherwise, the stream just stops around 1:23. I don't know why, and it was dumb luck or genius intuition that led me to fixing the streams with this tool on first try. Anyway, save the stream to a new file.
3) Womble will allow you to do a frame accurate cuts. Remove the entire shot and replace with the file above. Luke's saber is now blue, like it is supposed to be.
4) If Lucas trys to trump up some plot point to justify this as a Deliberate Creative Decision in Ep III, grab your torches and pitchforks.

Anyway, this is the first usable file I've posted in a while, after my ROTJ fixes in the early days of this thread. It's all Darth Editous' genious though. I just was given the benefit of it.

S7en, I got your file, by the way, but can't get it to play yet. I'll keep working on it.
