Well, if Sony can work with Disney/Marvel in making the new Spiderman, then Fox working with Disney to release a Complete Collection Blu Ray, should be no sweat. Plus, they’ll make tons in the first weekend.

Yeah everyone already knows that. Are you guys trying to suggest that Fox is the reason the OOT hasn’t been released? Because boy, that’s a good one…
Think about this from a business perspective. We’ve received multiple reports that they’ve restored the OUT but there’s been no sign of a release. Why is that? Here are the two options:
- Release them now and let 20th Century profit off the work you invested into restoring them
- Wait until you’ve fully secured the rights for two-thirds of the trilogy and only split the profits for one film
Which sounds like the smarter business decision?

That makes sense, thanks for explaining it clearly without insults. But we still don’t have all the info on how that restoration was made, wouldn’t Disney have to talk to Fox to even start restoration work on the first film? Anyway this is all conjecture now.

Sooner or later, Hollywood will CGI dead actors into VR Movies.
People have started making small VR Movies. - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fIGDeUui0NUThe Michael Crichton movie Looker predicted all of this back in 1981.
Ironically, the Crichton estate is now in the practice of resurrecting dead authors. First there was Micro, which I’m convinced was an abandoned draft of Prey, and now Containment.

There’s an old vacuum commercial with Frank Sinatra (I think) dancing with a vacuum (or maybe it was Singing in the Rain Footage) that they made sometime after Forest Gump pioneered the technology of placing old actors (or JFK, in the case of Forest Gump) in new footage, so they’ve been at it for a while now.
It was Fred Astaire and a Dirt Devil and they got in a lot of trouble with his estate.
Uh, it was his estate that pimped him out while stiffing documentaries and other legit venues of even being able to use film clips of him. Moral of the story, don’t marry a control freak late in life who will whore out your likeness after you’re dead.

It’s not really hidden. The similarities of the harmonic progression are kind of obvious.
This is exactly why I didn’t like the R1 soundtrack. At this point you might as well just use the Imperial March.

I wouldn’t want to hear the Imperial March before its first appearance in The Empire Strikes Back. Having it hinted at here is the right way to do it.
