I think people need to realize that the prices we experience are not really based in a free market. We do not have a free market...probably about 60% of the cost for goods we pay goes to taxes and the expense of producing the goods, while the remainder gets distributed to the producer, which then has to pay their employees (wages, benefits, etc
and a new round of taxes. This is not being done by accident. I suggest people read "The Creature from Jekyl Island", by Griffin, if you really want a good idea on how/why things work in the world. Very interesting and an easy read.
