It’s been fun reading some of these posts. We are so used to prequel vs. anti-prequel crap in the Star Wars fan universe, but now we have to fight over TFA and RO?

Here’s my simple way of looking at things:

  1. There are these things called the prequels. They have done damage to the Star Wars world and in my humble opinion strongly divide the camp into those who enjoy versus those who are repulsed by the very idea of the prequel movies existing.

  2. Then there is everything not prequels. To me that means OT, TFA, and RO. Those are my Star Wars world.

I was born before Star Wars came out in the theater. Perhaps that flavors my view of things. But in my humble opinion, TFA and RO are much, much, much closer to OT than the PT in terms of filmmaking quality and Star Wars feel.

I’m glad we can all have opinions, and hopefully we can continue to have a civilized discussion. I really enjoyed RO. I have seen it twice.
