i think this is a great thread! a lot of you have been saying that you print your discs with a canon pixma printer, but i am not sure what pixma printer is the best/actually prints on a disc. could someone please point me in the right direction?

A good friend lets me print dvds on her Canon Pixma iP7250 printer - am very happy with the results. It is just a printer though - no scanning or copying.

My old Epson Stylus R300 Printer still does a good job for printing to discs - despite being around 10 years old (it’s just out of ink - inksaver covers are the future 😉).

Good thing to remember when purchasing printers - the cost of the ink. Printer manufacturers make their money from the ink they sell - and hardly make any money on the actual printers

(this is why some printers seem flimsy, don’t have a good ‘build quality’ or decent components inside - and can be problematic when things go wrong - when compared to printers a from a few years ago).

So always remember to factor in how much the ink will cost for the printer you are thinking of buying…
